Sorry to hear that your placement exam didn't go as you would have liked. What course/ subject was the exam for?

Just watched your videoblog. I don't have a YouTube account, so I thought I would leave my comment here.
I'm glad to hear that your opinion of Cairo has improved. It sounds like an interesting place, as all major cities tend to be (full of crazies!).
You mentioned that you are living in a quad. Have your other two roommates showed up? Or is it still just you and the other American?
Also, when you say the weekend is Friday and Saturday, does that mean you have classes on Sunday?
I'm getting excited for my trip, though not looking forward to the anxiety of traveling and settling in. Did you get the email I sent you that had my address + websites?
